The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management is a newly established department at University of Rajshahi. Currently, there are 100 students in the department. The students have come from all corners of the country, each having a different family background. The department is very focused towards the students and their families. It has great aspiration for serving the students and community even despite its financial constraint. For example, there is a “Students Empowerment and Protection Program” in the department. As a new department we have limitation of fund for which we face difficulties to run different community service programs.
