To train the young generation in chemistry and to direct their approach to accomplish this task easily, it is necessary to make the students understand the principles underlying the composition, structure and properties of substances along with the transformation that they undergo. The main mission of the department is to produce sincere, dutiful and hard-working individuals with required professional skills so that chemistry graduates can serve the nation and render services to the international communities. To materialize the vision, the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the department are being updated on the regular basis. Department of Chemistry has designed its curricula in view to develop the skills and to make strong competent chemists to face the upcoming challenges in the diverse fields of chemistry. Teachers inspire the students to engage themselves in research and to gather creative knowledge in chemistry. Besides, students are encouraged to acquire ethical values, humane qualities and to be perseverance.
