2nd International Conference on Music
Department of Music, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh is going to organize the 2nd International Conference. The program will be held on 3rd and 4th March, 2024. The Department of Music invites all the researchers, renowned scholars, musicians, and enthusiasts from around the world to this International Conference. The theme of the Conference is “Music and Ethnicity”. This event promises to be an enriching experience, exploring the profound connection between music and diverse cultural identities.
Date: 22nd and 23rd September 2024 (3rd and 4th March 2024)
Venue: University of Rajshahi Campus, Bangladesh.

Instructions:
Proposals
Abstracts should be accompanied by a title as well as the name(s) and affiliation(s) of author(s) with keywords on the prescribed abstract form (download here).
Paper presentations of 30 minutes (including 10 minutes for questions and discussions) are invited. These must present original research and findings and may be on any topic relevant to the scope of the conference. Please submit an abstract within 300 words by using the official format.
Deadline and Requirements for Submission
Proposals for presentations will be accepted until 28th March 2024 (7th December 2023)
The decision will be made by the Conference Committee, and participants will be notified by 20th April 2024 (24th December 2023)
The language of the presentations will be Bengali or English.
Registration Fees:
- 100 $ (USD) for the SAARC countries (Teachers and other professionals).
- 150 $ (USD) for excluding SAARC Countries (Teachers and other professionals).
- 5000 BDT for Bangladeshi Teachers and other professionals.
- 3000 BDT for Bangladeshi Students.
- 2000 BDT for the students of Rajshahi University.
- 40 $ (USD) for students of SAARC countries
- 60 $ (USD) for other students (excluding SAARC countries).
Facilities:
1) Conference Kit
2) Lunch and Dinner (3rd and 4th March)
3) Accommodation for foreigners only (3rd and 4th March)
4) Multi-media projector and sound system will be provided. Please mention your other requirements (if any) on the abstract form.
