With the advent of the Department of Law and Land Administration in 2015, the Faculty of Law at the University of Rajshahi became a pioneer in Bangladesh for a new academic discipline emphasising land laws. The Department offers all the fundamental legal courses along with special courses related to land administration and management. The primary goal of the Department is to disseminate explored legal knowledge to young novices and train them to contribute to the diverse legal arena by honing their skills, especially in the land administration and management system of Bangladesh. It also aims to produce top-notch law graduates who will be academically equipped to offer their best in their career as Judges, Magistrates, Researchers, Civil/Criminal/Income-Tax lawyers.
