In an increasingly volatile and challenging world, there is a growing demand for the study of International Relations (IR) globally. IR is one of the youngest disciplines at the University of Rajshahi (established in 2014). The Department aims to explore and harness the ‘inner potentials’ of the students. In this context, the key goal of the Department is to create a talented pool of graduates who will be enlightened, rational, and skilled human resources who will serve the humanity at large. Against such a backdrop, the Department employs modern teaching-learning methods to keep pace with the global changes. The pedagogy design and course curricula are adapted to the transformations of the globalized world. The Department is fully committed to be one of the finest institutions of excellence in the region and beyond. Normally, International Relations graduates are equipped to work in the public sectors, international organizations, in the academia, research institutions, embassies, MNCs and NGOs at home and abroad.
