Central Stores is an important section of the University. This section keeps the University offices functioning through several important functions, namely:

1. Procurement of consumables (file board, file cover, envelope, paper etc.) through tender and supply of these to other offices of the University.
2.  Procurement and supply of TV, Refrigerator, lawn Mowers etc. for the Vice-Chancellor’s residence and computers, computer accessories, photocopiers etc. for the University offices through tender.
3. Collecting and supplying name pads, official pads, forms and registers from the printing press as per the demands of the University offices, departments and halls. The Central Stores supplies office necessary papers and samples in this regard to the printing press.
4. Payment for uniforms to general employees and transport drivers of the University every year and keeping records of these payments in the register.
5. Purchase and supply of all papers (legal paper, A-4 paper, white printing paper etc.) through the committee formed by the university administration.
6. Purchase and supply of curtains and new bicycles for the University offices. 

   Process of bringing all works of this section under automation system is going on. If this is implemented, 100% transparency and accountability will hopefully be ensured in the Central Stores.
