Message from the Inspector of Colleges

University of Rajshahi.

The Office of the Inspector of Colleges is a vital organ of the University of Rajshahi, dedicated to overseeing the academic and administrative affairs of its affiliated Engineering & Agriculture colleges /institutes. Established in 1956, the office is located on the 3rd floor of Administration Building-1, and continues to play a pivotal role in upholding the university’s commitment to excellence in higher education.

Currently, the principal responsibilities of this office are carried out in accordance with the Rajshahi University Affiliated Colleges Ordinance 2015 and the Financial Rules 2016. These include organizing, conducting and monitoring the operations of all affiliated colleges and institutes.

A core objective of this office is to ensure and enhance the quality of education delivered by the affiliated institutions. The office is also entrusted with managing matters such as initial affiliation, renewal of affiliation, approval of examination centres, and revisions in student intake capacities.

All academic and administrative activities of affiliated colleges and institutes are regulated under the guidance of the Affiliation Committee, chaired by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University.
