Students who will be graduated from this Department will have the scope to sit for all competitive examinations including Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) (for becoming Judges or Judicial Magistrates), Bangladesh Civil Services (BCS) Examination, Bar Enrolment Examination for both Civil and Criminal legal practice. They can also apply for a Commissioned Officer (Judge Advocate General) in Army, Navy and Air Force as well as for jobs in other Government, Non-Government (NGO) and International Organisations, Bank, Telecommunication etc. Almost all public and private universities have Law Faculties and graduates of this Department would be able to apply for lectureship in those Law Faculties. Additionally, graduates from this Department will also be able to contribute in land related jobs and policy making.
