M.S. in Fisheries Biology and Genetics

The M. S. in Fisheries Biology and Genetics courses shall consist of compulsory, optional, thesis, seminar and viva-voce courses. The Compulsory courses are of 600 marks (Theory 75% Tutorial 10%, field/lab/course assignments 10% and attendance 5%) (12 Credits), Optional courses 600 marks (Theory 75% Class Test 10%, Assignments 10% and Attendance 5%) (12 Credits), Thesis 300 marks (6 Credits), seminar 50 marks (1 Credit) and viva voce 50 marks (1 Credit) with an aggregate marks of 1600 (32 Credits). The research work of the thesis should be carried out from the beginning of Semester-1.
M. S. in Fisheries Biology and Genetics Semester-1 Examination shall be held at the end of the First Semester having 600 marks (12 Credits), covering six theoretical courses (three compulsory and three optional) including tutorial, field/lab/course assignment and attendance.
M. S. in Fisheries Biology and Genetics Semester-2 Examination shall be held at the end of the Second Semester having 600 marks (12 Credits), covering six theoretical courses (three compulsory and three optional) including tutorial, field/lab/course assignment and attendance.
M. S. in Fisheries Biology and Genetics Semester-3 Examination shall be held at the end of the Third Semester having 400 marks (8 Credits), covering one thesis, Seminar performances based on research work and viva-voce based on thesis and all compulsory and optional courses.
