Mr. A.S.M. Kamruzzaman joined the department of Finance and Banking, University of Rajshahi, as a lecturer on December 7, 1996. Teaching is his family’s traditional profession, and accordingly he has opted for this profession. Since his joining he has been serving the department with sincerity and professional commitment holding this belief that students are the real evaluators.

Area of Academic Interest

• Mr. Kamruzzaman has special academic interests in Micro and SME Finance, Rural Development, Rural Livelihood Diversification, and Development Finance.

Research Activities

• Mr. Kamruzzaman is currently pursuing his research works for Ph. D. program on off-farm activities and rural olive hood diversification. A number of research articles are in the process of publication.
