Ph. D.

Title: Complex Seismic Attributes Analysis for the Characterization of Subsurface Geology.

In the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Synopsis: Developed two new Seismic Imaging Techniques and successfully used in the interpretation and characterization of INDEPTH deep seismic data. The techniques are being provided the better mechanics of the earth and are applicable in Seismic Wave Propagation either from earthquake or exploratory source.

 RESEARCH

1996 -2007

Working as an active group member of the Geophysical Research Division of the Department of Applied Physics and Electronic Engineering of Rajshahi University, Bangladesh.

Present

(i) Attributes Analysis for understanding the dynamics of the earth.  Working with Magnitude 6.6 - Near the West Coast of Honshu, Japan, 2007 July 16 01:13:22 UTC and Magnitude 6.8 - Sea of Japan, 2007 July 16 14:17:37 UTC earthquake data from the stations ADM, SBT, KZK and WJM; North Atlantic Marine Seismic Reflection Profiles of NGDC; and Deep Seismic Reflection Profiles of INDEPTH data.

(ii) FTTS, a Seismic Imaging technique developed by me is also studying for the above seismic data.

Interests

To Study the Dynamics of the Earth with the Application of Seismic Imaging techniques in Seismological Data.
