Teaching experience:

 ·   Lecturer, Deptt. of Electronics and Applied Physics, Islamic University, Kushtia-7003,Bangladesh (From October-1999 to September-2000).
     ·   Lecturer, Deptt. of Applied Physics and Electronics, Rajshahi UniversityRajshahi-6205,Bangladesh (From September-2000 to now).

  Courses taught :

  ·  Applied electricity and Magnetism; electromagnetic field theory; classical and quantum mechanics and Solid State Physics
  ·  Research in the thin film research group in the department of Applied Physics and Electronics, Rajshahi University,  Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh

  ·  Advised graduate students on research and preparing dissertations.

Research activities:

·         A research work is carried out of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science entitled “ A study of the electrical and optical properties of ZnSb thin films”. Advisor: Prof. M. Sayeedur  Rahman Khan.

 ·        An article entitled “preparation and study of the electrical properties of ZnSb thin films”is              accepted  for publication in “The Rajshahi University studies. Part-B”

·        Now I am working on Indium-oxide thin films. Indium-Oxide thin films have been prepared by using thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate at a pressure of about ~10-6 Pa. Electrical and optical properties of undoped Indium-Oxide thin films are studied. Hall effect measurements also carried out and results reveals that the carrier type of the deposited films is negative.

Academic achievements:

· An article entitled “preparation and study of the electrical properties of ZnSb thin films” is submitted     for publication in the Rajshahi University studies.

· Secured First place, Masters of Science examination, University of Rajshahi.

· Secured First place, Bachelor of Science examination, University of Rajshahi.

· Received Rajshahi University Merit Scholarship, 2001.

· Received University Grants Commission Scholarship (Bangladesh), 1999.

· Received “ Madar Box Hall Gold medal-1998”, Rajshahi University.
