Field of Research: Optical interconnection networks, WDM technology, Survivability of Photonic networks.
For the next generation ultrahigh bandwidth communication networks all optical wavelength switching in the cross-connect is essential. At the same time connection establishment should be done in the shortest possible time. Therefore, a nonblocking switching network with optimum time complexity is sought. Presently I am trying to develop a routing algorithm for the rearrageably nonblocking switching networks based on vertical stacking of multiple banyan planes of time complexity O(N).
