Shah Md. Abdur Rauf joined the department in 2006. Before
joining the department he had been serving as a Bangladesh Civil
Service officer in the Department of Livestock Servives (DLS).
As a scientific officer at the Livestock Research Institute (LRI)
under DLS he worked on maintenance and culture of BHK21
cell line, typing and cultivation of FMD virus and preparation
of FMD vaccine. Dr. Rauf's research for thesis focused on
"Anatomy of salivary gland of Black Bengal goat".
