K. M. Mozaffor Hossain joined the department in 2004.
Before joining the department Mr. Hossain was serving
as a scientific officer at Livestock Research Institute
(LRI) and worked on isolation, identification and characterization
of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) of Bangladeshi
strain and to develop inactivated and attenuated vaccine
from that strain. Dr. Hossain is
now on leave for higher studies in Japan.
