The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science (AHVS) offers you a unique educational opportunity.

The Department has started its endeavor in the Third Science Building and will soon be moved to its new building of faculty of Agriculture, located in a magnificent setting, has been sensitively designed by leading architects to reflect the natural beauty of the campus interior, to support innovative teaching, and to meet the educational, social and recreational needs of the students. It has a Veterinary Clinic, Artificial Insemination Center, Dairy and Poultry farms, Garden of medicinal plants and Fodder cultivation farm at Narikalbaria specifically set up to making education a personal, purposeful and enriching experience for each and every student. This means, the department has excellent learning facilities. The AHVS is committed to fostering quality Veterinary Education and our success is based on our ability to respond to the rapidly changing world.
